NBC’s Up All Night returns for its second season with some big changes.
In its first season, Christina Applegate‘s new mother Reagan returned to her demanding job as a producer of Ava’s (Maya Rudolph) talk show but she may not have the most job security when season two begins.

In an exclusive clip from next week’s season two premiere, Chris (Will Arnett) — and Reagan’s newly cast laid back younger brother (played by Luka Jones) — convince their more conservative family member to do some remodeling to create a respite from work.
Only the moment Reagan gives in, she receives some ill-timed news from Ava that involves how she’ll pay for the impromptu bathroom expansion.

Up All Night returns Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
