Ellen Page is going on a mission for Vice’s new cable channel.
In Gaycation, her new Viceland docuseries, Page travels the world to learn more about the LGBTQ experience. She and her friend, Ian Daniel, visit Brazil, Japan and Jamaica — they even confront presidential candidate Ted Cruz at the Iowa State Fair.
“I’m on a journey to explore what it means to be lesbian, gay, bi or trans all around the world,” Page says in the show’s first trailer.
The docuseries will air on Shane Smith and Spike Jonze’s Viceland, which officially debuts as a 24-hour cable channel on Feb. 29.
“We want to join the celebrations, document the struggles, feel the love and the hate, and bring home every human story we encounter along the way,” Page says.
Gaycation premieres on March 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Viceland.
