The Facts of Life actresses Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields stopped by Good Morning America on Wednesday morning to chat about their new Hallmark Channel movie, For Better or for Worse.

In the Hallmark romantic comedy about getting a second chance at love, Whelchel plays a wedding coordinator, while Fields plays her friend and co-worker.
The stars, who played Blair and Tootie on the hit boarding school sitcom, also shared their own personal “facts of life.”
“The fans have always let us know over the decades how much the show has meant to them, their children, their children’s children,” said Fields, while Whelchel laughed, “We are old! Their children’s children!”
Whelchel boarded the Hallmark Channel project because it was cute instead of cheesy, and when Fields’ name was tossed into the ring as her friend onscreen, Whelchel said, “Okay, I’ll do that for free!”
“Very much like riding a bike — Lisa’s a wonderfully talented woman, plain and simple,” said Fields of working with Whelchel again.

The two actresses were then shown a video message from fellow Facts of Life actress Charlotte Rae, wishing them well on the upcoming film. “I’m all aquiver with anticipation! I know you’ll be brilliant and I love you,” Rae said in the clip.
