Vince Gilligan is ready to give fans a look inside his mind.
The Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul showrunner has launched an Omaze charity campaign, with the winner getting a trip to Los Angeles to talk pick Gilligan’s brain over lunch.
“Flights, four-star hotel, transportation — all that stuff is on me,” Gilligan said in a video announcing the contest. “Then we’ll combine two of my favorite things — eating good food and talking about television. And maybe having drink or two. Alright, that’s three things.”
Donors are automatically entered into the contest when they make a donation, via Omaze.com. Proceeds go to The Geffen Playhouse, a non-profit theater company in Los Angeles.
Gilligan is following in the footsteps of his Breaking Bad leads with the Omaze contest. Bryan Cranston raised $303,000 for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children by offering a VIP experience to the final season premiere of Breaking Bad in 2013. Aaron Paul‘s contest involving the series finale screening raised a staggering $1.8 million for his wife Lauren‘s anti-bullying non-profit The Kind Campaign.
