On the same week that America will vote for the president of the U.S., NBC will open the polls for the live shows of The Voice.
The hit singing competition had a little fun with the coinciding schedules by creating politically-themed videos encouraging America to come out to vote…for their favorite Voice contestant.

In a new video exclusively hosted by The Hollywood Reporter, Christina Aguilera’s team, which was cut down to five members on Tuesday’s show, plays hardball by accusing last season’s winning coach, Blake Shelton, of being a big spender.
Case in point: confetti.
“Is Team Blake celebrating too frivolously for these tough times?” says De’borah.
The ad goes on to praise Aguilera, pulling lines from many of her famous songs.
Aguilera appears at the very end of the video to let you know she approves this message.

The “Your Body” singer’s remaining team members include De’borah, Devyn DeLoera, Adriana Louise, Sylvia Yacoub and the only male member Dez Duron.
The live shows will air on three nights during Election Week, totaling five hours of broadcasting.
While the show will move from its normal slot on Tuesday, Nov. 6, due to NBC’s election night coverage, NBC has added special live broadcasts on Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8-10 p.m. ET) and on Thursday, Nov. 8 (8-9 p.m. ET) — as well as its regular airing on Monday, Nov. 5 (8-10 p.m. ET).
