Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs and Ioan Grufudd will star opposite Bella Thorne and Natalie Martinez in Home Invasion, a thriller being made by Voltage Pictures and Zinc Entertainment, a division of Silver Pictures.
Commercials director Sean Carter is directing the thriller, which has a script by Joseph Dembner.
The story focuses on a family imprisoned in their own home by intruders who play a life-and-death game in which the mysterious rules become clear as the night unfolds.

With Riggs and Gruffudd on board, the family unit is now complete (just in time to be attacked). Riggs joins Thorne in playing the siblings, while Gruffudd will play the father to Martinez’s stepmother.
Invasion is being produced by Silver Pictures’ Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman, who developed the script, along with Voltage’s Nicolas Chartier and Craig Flores.
Joel Silver and Steve Richards are exec producing with Michael Fiore, a longtime collaborator of Carter’s.
Voltage is in preproduction with the drama Fathers & Daughters, which will star Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried, while Silver Pictures is prepping for the winter release of its latest Liam Neeson action movie, Non-Stop.

Riggs is riding high with Dead, which for its season premiere hit over 16 million viewers, shattering cable records. (That doesn’t even factor in the millions more if you count the DVR numbers.) Riggs, who plays Andrew Lincoln‘s son on the zombie show, recently wrapped the supernatural indie Mercy, which adapts a Stephen King story.
Gruffudd, who played Reed Richards in the Fantastic Four movies, recently appeared on TV’s Glee and Castle.
Riggs and Gruffudd are repped by ICM Partners. Gruffudd is additionally repped by Framework.
