The Wanted is taking the world by storm, but it looks like apologizing is not a skill that they have mastered. The UK boy band attempted to apologize for trashing The Voice coach Christina Aguilera, but seemed to tack on an additional insult in the process.

After they appeared on the NBC competition recently, the group shared some harsh words about the pop singer.
“She was a bit scary to be honest,” band member Max George said during an interview with New York’s 92.3 FM.
“She was a total bitch!” Tom Parker then blurted out, adding, “She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us she was a bitch to us. She just sat there and didn’t speak to us.”
Siva Kaneswaran added that she was “quite rude.”
However, two days later Parker seemed to regret making the comments…sort of. He shared a half-apology, half-insult when he was approached by TMZ’s cameras.
“We shouldn’t have said it, to be honest with you,” he said. “We just think manners cost nothing, you know what I mean?”

“The rest of the judges were really nice, and she didn’t even walk over to us and talk to us. We apologize for the comment,” he added.
Aguilera is one of the more outspoken coaches on The Voice, and has gotten plenty of attention during season two, which is going into the semi-finals on Monday. In previous weeks, she’s called out contestant Tony Lucca for possibly getting an unfair advantage because of his connection for former Mickey Mouse Club costar Justin Timberlake. She was also accused of giving Justin Bieber a rude look when he appeared on the show to introduce the video for his single “Boyfriend.”
