Now that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been sworn in as president and vice president, the 2021 Presidential Inauguration will wrap up its celebrations with a 90-minute primetime special that will air online and across six TV networks.
Hosted by Tom Hanks, Celebrating America will air on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and the Smithsonian Channel, in addition to streaming on the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s YouTube channel and social media channels. The cross-network special was developed in place of traditional inauguration events, like live concerts, that were canceled due to COVID-19 safety restrictions.
The star-studded special will feature performances by Katy Perry, Jon Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, Ant Clemons, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters and John Legend.
Hollywood stars Eva Longoria, Kerry Washington and Lin-Manuel Miranda also will make appearances, in addition to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dolores Huerta, World Central Kitchen founder and chef José Andrés and the first woman MLB general manager, Kim Ng. Biden and Harris will also make remarks.
Celebrating America will air from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
