USA Network is banking on its showrunners, finalizing a deal for a drama pilot from White Collar creator Jeff Eastin.
The hourlong project centers on agents from federal and local agencies, including the FBI and the LAPD, who live in a house in Southern California. It will be produced by Fox TV Studios.
Eastin’s project joins a slate at USA that includes two half-hour comedy pilots, Paging Dr. Freed and one with Nathan Lane.
White Collar, recently renewed for a fourth season, stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen and follows a FBI agent and a former criminal as they solve cases. The network’s current scripted series include Necessary Roughness, Suits, Covert Affairs, Royal Pains, Psych, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Fairly Legal and upcoming Common Law.
