You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to have Jeff Tweedy delivering the week’s forecast either.
Wilco appeared at Chicago news station WGN on Thursday to perform during the morning show, and a game Tweedy extended his visit to help weatherman Paul Konrad with his daily duties.

The visit came in the midst of the band’s five-night stint in its Windy City hometown, which is part of a longer, national tour in support of The Whole Love album.
Tweedy was good-natured throughout his guest spot in which he didn’t really detail the seven-day forecast so much as provide comic relief.
When the bald Konrad called the bearded, tussled-haired musician the “hairy weatherman,” Tweedy quipped, “That’s why I’m here, supplemental hair.”

Glancing at the forecast projected behind him, Tweedy said, “It’s looks pretty good, things could be worse.”
Addressing the morning audience he said, “I’m sure you’re just getting up. You’re wanting to know what to wear today, the last thing you want to see is a guy from Wilco doing the weather.
“I don’t know what else to say other than this is how it looks, you can read, I hope. If you can operate a TV.”
More of his dry humor can be seen in the video below.
