Will Ferrell is just another average millennial in a new campaign ad for Hillary Clinton.
The actor dons a “Nasty Woman” t-shirt and an “I’m With Her” button in the new spot. Ferrell asks his fellow millennials to put down their Snapchat, Tinder and Instagram to listen to what he says. Peppering in generation-appropriate words like “FOMO” and “bae,” Ferrell talks about the importance of voting.
He points out that people’s voting history is a matter of public record. “If you don’t vote, everyone might find out that you’re the opposite of on fleek,” says Ferrell. “Or that you’re basic, or even worse that you’ve got no chill.”
At the end of the spot Ferrell is seen struggling with the pronunciation of Tinder versus tender and asking, “It’s bae right?”
