These are three shady-looking guys you might not want to give a ride home.
Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segel are the latest stars to sit for Disney’s Dream Portrait series, in which familiar faces pose as classic Disney characters. The funnymen portray the hitchhiking ghosts (real names: Phineas, Ezra and Gus), who strike fear into theme park visitors at the Haunted Mansion attraction.
The portrait is captioned: “’Where you can go on the ride of your afterlife.’” If you’re not careful, one of them may follow you home!”
On Wednesday, Disney also unveiled another new portrait from the series featuring Russell Brand. While Brand had his brushes with the law, he’s never been charged with anything as serious as piracy. Still, he makes a striking Captain Hook, precariously balanced between a crocodile’s jaws, the same crocodile that has been chasing the pirate for years.
Penelope Cruz and Jeff Bridges (as the leads in Beauty and the Beast), Queen Latifah (as Ursula from The Little Mermaid) and Olivia Wilde and Alec Baldwin (as Snow White’s evil queen and the spirit in her mirror, respectively).
Disney says the portraits, shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz. will be featured in publications including GQ, O – The Oprah Magazine, People, People En Español, Vanity Fair, Real Simple, Essence, and InStyle.
