NBC’s World of Dance improved a little bit in Wednesday’s ratings, scoring its best 18-49 numbers since moving to the night a month earlier.
The show drew a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49, rising a tenth of a point week to week and beating the combined ABC and CBS averages from 9-11 p.m. The America’s Got Talent results show drew a 1.5 for NBC, even with its performance the previous week.
Big Brother recorded the best 18-49 rating of the night with a 1.6, edging AGT. The CBS show was even with last week’s preliminary numbers (it adjusted up to 1.7 in the finals).
Two hours of Masterchef averaged 1.0 for Fox, up a tenth of a point from a one-hour edition a week ago.
ABC’s special The Story of the Royals came in at 0.6, just slightly better than the reruns the network has been airing from 9-11 p.m. in recent weeks. Burden of Truth held steady at 0.2 on The CW.
NBC led the network race with a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo, three tenths better than Fox’s 1.0. CBS came in third at 0.8, followed by ABC at 0.6 and The CW at 0.1.
Late-night talk shows are in reruns this week.
