You’re the Worst co-star Kether Donohue is returning to Fox.
The actress has booked a recurring role on the network’s upcoming freshman comedy L.A. to Vegas.
Set to premiere midseason, the ensemble comedy is about a group of underdogs who are trying to find their place in the world. The series is set on the Friday night flight from L.A. to Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday.
Donohue will play Meghan, who is described as attractive and flakey and very Vegas-y. She’s a magician’s assistant who likes being the center of attention and who is self-involved without a lot of self-awareness. She’s the estranged wife of Colin (Ed Weeks), with whom she had a one-night stand — and a son.
Dylan McDermott stars in the comedy from writer Lon Zimmet, who also exec produces alongside Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy. Modern Family‘s Steve Levitan directed the pilot for the single-camera comedy from 20th Century Fox TV and Gary Sanchez Productions.
Donohue stars as the lovable dimwit Lindsay on Stephen Falk’s critical darling comedy You’re the Worst, which is currently midway through its fourth season on FXX. She’s repped by ICM Partners, Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Jackoway Tyerman.
A premiere date for L.A. to Vegas has not yet been determined. Watch the trailer below.
